Queue Plus (Patient Queuing System)
The project involved setting up a patient queuing system for clinics and hospitals. Previously, clinic attendants will just record the name of the patient and give out priority number then manually call out the patient\'s name. It was a chaotic manual system since there were more than 40 clinics and attendants will have to roam and shout to look for the patient. The client wanted a more systematic way where attendants will just be inside the clinic room to assist the doctor.\n\nThe system is made using C#.net. The system is capable of printing priority numbers via a kiosk wherein a patient only selects his/her doctor. It also has a Main Attendant module wherein the attendant can view all doctors rooms and the priority numbers issued to it. The system is also connected to PABX wherein secretaries of doctors inquire and call out their patients via phones thru Interactive Voice Response (IVR) using Intel® Dialogic® card to connect to PABX.
