Gabor's love of filmmaking started with the classes of Ferenc Varga in 1992. While attending these video classes for two years, the 13 year old Gabor (in the director's role) created various short films with the young cast and crew utilizing the school's VHS equipment and studio. After competing with films made by high school students, one of these early works won allowing the young filmmakers to re-shoot the short with a professional TV crew. After these early years Gabor has never lost his passion for filmmaking although for various reasons it took him more then ten years and eighteen thousand kilometers to create his first "grown up" short. Following his migration to New Zealand in 2003, Gabor soon found the long missed balance and security in his life. After the first two years of hard work, he was hired by Fletcher Buildings as an IT consultant. The flexible time management of this role allows him to spend time in filmmaking and after producing a short film for the 48Hours New Zealand competition in 2005, Gabor incorporated Outline Studio Limited which from 2008 becomes his full time work. Between mid 2008 and early 2010 he works as a freelance cameraman, video editor, production assistant and art department assistant, on various music video and TVC projects. After producing music videos and successfully managing post production of many wildlife documentary and tourist DVD's in February 2010 pressured by the industry slowdown and the global financial situation he decided to move to Sydney, Australia.
