Work Experience: - All the members in our group have more than 4+Years of experience in software industry. During these years we have been involved in developing wide range of software solutions using different technologies. Below are details of some major projects undertaken. Automation Project: - 1)Automation pro ject for EZYeild: - Client: - [login to view URL] (Florida, USA) Software Platform: -Linux (OS), CGI-PERL, CURL. Description: - This is our first independent project for a USA client. The project involves developing PERL scripts which visit a website and then update data on the website after logging in and reaching the correct web page. The website url, login details and data to be submitted are all read from a formatted text file provided as an input to the PERL script. The script thus developed becomes a part an automation system being maintained by EZYeild. This is an ongoing project. 2)Automation system for Website creation: - Client: -[login to view URL] (Romania) Software Platform: -Linux (OS), CGI-PERL, MySQL, CURL. Description: - This project involved dumping particular data items from a website([login to view URL]) into a database and then creating WebPages using html templates and the dumped data. The WebPages created become part on a another website([login to view URL] ). ERP Packages: - 1) ERP Implementation for BHEL, Varanasi: - Client: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (B.H.E.L.) Software Platform: Front-end in Visual Basic 6 Database: SQL Server 2000 Description: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. is a public sector company in India. A team of 10 people implemented this project right from the start. It was an integrated project involving WO, BOM, Indent, Manufacturing, PIS, Finance and Payroll, Maintenance, Operations, Material Management and Inventory Control, Purchase and Commercial Operations. 2) Library Management Software for HBTI Kanpur: Client: Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, (HBTI) - Kanpur Software Platform: Front-end in Visual Basic 6 Database: SQL Server 2000 Description: Initially this was a Proof Of Concept/Demo Project done by our team. We did extensive research by studying various Library Management Systems. Finally we gave the demo of this project to the Director of H.B.T.I. Kanpur. Our company received a formal order for the purchase and further customization of this Software. The complete software package was later successfully installed at the client side.
