I build websites, web applications, integrations and automations, and I write the content that goes with them. Fifteen years in IT, first in agencies and with larger companies, now independent. WHAT I DO Websites and online stores: WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or custom builds. Landing pages, portfolio sites, catalogue imports, migrations from an existing site. Web applications and tools: Python, Node.js, PHP, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Internal dashboards, client portals, booking systems, data pipelines. Backend, desktop and systems work: C#/.NET, C++, Java and Go when a project calls for them. Software architecture, backend services, protocol and SDK integrations, third party APIs including COM, FIX and socket interfaces, and the reconnection, error handling and latency work that makes a real time link dependable. Automation and data: web scraping, API integrations, connecting the tools you already use, cleaning and processing spreadsheets, recurring reports that run themselves. Mobile: cross-platform apps with Flutter, and responsive web apps when that serves the need better and saves you the app store overhead. Writing: product descriptions, category pages, blog articles, SEO copy, technical documentation and translation. I work in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian. HOW I WORK Fixed price agreed before I start. No hourly billing, no invoice that grows along the way. You know the cost and the deadline from the first message. Short deadlines. A landing page or a scraping script usually ships within 48 hours. A five page site in three to five days. A product catalogue import is the same work whether you have 200 items or 2000, and I price it that way. I ask questions before quoting. Most projects fail because something was assumed rather than agreed: who supplies the images, whether the data comes as a clean file, whether an existing system has to keep working. I would rather raise those points early than discover them halfway through. I answer quickly, including after delivery. Small fixes in the weeks following a handover are part of the job, not a new invoice. BACKGROUND Based in France, working with clients anywhere. Alongside my technical work I hold a law degree, which is useful on GDPR and data protection questions that often get overlooked until they become a problem. If your brief is still taking shape, send it as it is. I will tell you what I think it needs, what it does not, and what it should cost.
Eric delivered work at a different level. Far more than I expected. With this standard he has a great future on Freelancer.
