Having studied Music Informatics what seems like ages ago now, I am quite a unique person in that I love development, coding, UX, IA, BDD, Agile and any other tech anachronism you can think of. But also I have a really creative and expressive outlook on my work. Ruby and Rails are my tools of choice. My Tool Box Development Wise Looks like this at the moment: Ruby 1.9.2, Rails 3.0.3, RSpec, Spork, Autotest, PostgreSQL, Textmate, Git, GitHub, Heroku, etc ad infinitum. I am also available for Audio/Music production and post. i.e. recording, location sound, mixing and editing. I am a Pro-Tools operator with about 7 years experience. If required I can do some basic video editing on Final-Cut Pro, as well as video encoding for web etc. My Audio Toolbox is: ProTools LE, Keyboard, Electric Guitar & Bass, Akai Sampler, Yamaha Mixer & Monitoring, Roland Drum Machines, Marshall Amplification, Way to many Microphones to list etc ad infinitum. On the Visual side tools of Choice are: Photoshop and/or Fireworks for Web, QuarkExpress for Print Design, Final Cut Pro For video. I also work part time for a FTSE 100 Financial Institution, but am not available in this capacity for Freelance Work.
