My first brush with publishing came in 1998 - a couple of years after I started my career in journalism - with my anthology of poems 'Tears'. After my 5-year stint in the newspaper industry and after a brief stint as a web writer with Encyclopedia Britannica, I made a career with Doordarshan News, the public broadcaster of India, as content manager. Meanwhile during that time I soon found my new love—travel writing. My blog Travel Hungry Souls, where I regularly pen my experiences, today, has many avid readers. I worked for about five years as the head of content and editorial with India's largest B2B portal, , creating the first website in the country for SMEs. During this period, I have written stories for English Workbooks ( of Class III and IV) published by Oxford University Press. Currently I'm working on my novel which is scheduled to finished by the end of this year.
