Appearing Text Effect

I solemnly swear I'm up to no good. Ok, I admit the effect turned out eerily similar to the effect of the Harry Potter "Marauder's Map." Even the word "Magic" makes an appearance. However, the graphic started out my own idea. It wasn't until I began rendering that I realized how close it looked.
