I am assisting the Director of EduTech, on an ongoing informal basis, by producing eLearning instructional materials, using PowerPoint as well as video and audio editing software, to supplement a China-qualified teachers’ professional development program that Dulwich is piloting across their school group this year. Prior to launch of the program, I gave a preparatory face-to-face presentation to the group’s Learning Leadership Team, who are acting as mentors to the China-qualified teachers, on netiquette and forum moderation. I presently undertake some administrative duties on the Moodle platform as well as provide practical advice, on an ad hoc basis, to the Deputy Director of Schools, who devised and is moderating the progress of the program, on educational theory and implementation of the program’s online elements.

In my role as associate fee earner, I managed a large and varied case load of pre-issue and litigated Claimant personal injury claims. I established a solid track record within the firm for exceeding financial targets. As a result of my experience in the legal sector, I am an excellent communicator and a confident negotiator. I am able to communicate clearly and at an appropriate level with my clients, specialist experts and legal counsel. Good time management, attention to detail and the ability to think outside of the box to solve complex problems were essential skills that I developed during my time with the firm. Although I am not longer a practicing solicitor, I remain on the roll.
