Four Stage Magnetically Couple Ring Compressor
Designed a 2000 lb, 75hp four stage compressor that is completely sealed and driven by a magnetically coupled drive. I was used to recirculate radioactive hydrogen gas and was necessary to design using materials that would not be affected by radiation and would not leak hazardous gas. Complex internal features were created and a regenerative energy concept where the gas would gain energy through spinning around an internal torus.

I'm a senior design technologist specializing in machine design and coming up with creative solutions to complex problems. Research and Development and new product design are my forte. My objective is to work researching mechanical components, develop concepts into cost effective working prototypes, complete detail design in a 3D parametric world, complete work packages for manufacture containing detail and assembly drawings.
