My name is Chris and I've been working as a Technical [Tier 1 and Tier 2] Customer Care Representative for three years. Before that I was into Sales and Marketing for eight years, training people, maintaining high turnovers for account receivables and overall Sales operations. I've managed to make my customers comfortable on what they're doing, based on my instructions over the phone.The secret to effective phone support is the willingness to help and educate. I make it a habit to explain to them what their issue is and what we need to do to resolve the issue.I get them involved, so they know exactly what we are doing and why we're doing it. I empower them so that next time they'll know exactly what their problem is. It saves time for both of us since I know exactly where to start. This made me very efficicient in relaying important information over the phone. This is also where I got my data entry skills. It is very important for us to document all information, in detail, for future reference. Thank you.
