A Prosthetic hand I have been building for a 7 year old girl with a partial hand. It\\\\\\\'s a work in progress but the image is of the most recent version.\\\\n\\\\nI mirrored her full hand so that it would fit over her partial hand. I set a series of joints in the finger so that her wrist movement can move the fingers.\\\\n\\\\nI used photogammetry to scan the models. Blender and Zbrush to clean them up. I then used fusion 360 to design the joints. Final model was cleaned up by meshmixer.

About Me

I have 15 years experience as a 3D modelling generalist and designing for manufacturing. My clients have included a variety of SME's and Large businesses, private and government organisations. I have also worked on high art installations, viral youtube stars, Oscar winners and celebrities that are household names. I have modelled everything from prosthetics to buildings; static and functional models; small(mm) sized to large (m) sized; single colour to full colour. I can also provide high quality rendering services. I have designed for a wide range of manufacturing methods, from desktop and industrial 3d printing to large scale cnc machining and laser cutting. I can design for many materials from thermoplastics to resin casting+composites and powdered metal printing. I offer high quality in house 3D printing services using desktop FDM and SLA printers. I have close working relationships with several 3D printing bureaus. I am well versed in Blender's Geometry node system and can offer unique computational design services. For example I built a custom lattice generator system so that I can reduce the mass of designs whilst maintaining part strength. I also offer limited simulation services such as static load modelling. I have contributed to the Robohand prosthesis and the E-Nable group. My contributions to the design are still evident many years and thousands of hands later.
