Conceptualized and developed design based from a higher end model with economical features in mind. Managed sourcing and prototyping up to working model and documented for production. Later created product rendering for marketing. The Crane Stand made its name as the most stable portable laptop in the world. Aside from laptop stand accessories and the upgrade product design duDESIGN has provided to Crane Hardware, an economy version of the laptop stand has been requested to cater the price sensitive side of its market. Design was based on the original laptop stand however using high quality steel tubes and formed sheet metal parts with powder coating .nishing. duDESIGN provided full service of product design, documentation of parts and assembly processes, sourcing and prototyping. Prototypes or initial samples were made in the Philippines and was shipped to Crane Hardware in Everett, Washington for .nal approval. Production was outsourced to China.
