My technical experience and interests as a system engineer focuses on Linux and Open Source software, preferably Gentoo, Slackware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (i have cert RHCT), Solaris,Debian. I have 7 years experience in UNIX & network administrator. I was being responsible for all security aspects of the various domains including security policies and procedures, installing,monitoring and administrating firewall, webserver, mail server, DNS, etc. A cornerstone of my skill set is a strong software development ability in Perl, Awk & Unix shell. This ability has greatly assisted my work in other areas by allowing me to automate repetitive tasks. I have experience developing utilities, web applications and control scripts. I also have experience debugging and improving undocumented legacy code.
