I am just starting out in the webdesign and graphical editing business. Whilst I did study Web Design at High School and also briefly as part of the University Course I am completing, but I am mainly self-taught from websites, magazines and books. I enjoy reading about all aspects of web design and this leads to me experimenting on "offline" websites. I have created websites for the following clients; St George Property Sales ([login to view URL]) Maranoa Town & Country Mail ([login to view URL]) A Local Electrician (No Longer Online, Upgraded to a Joomla site through another provider) Wage Payment Site (No Longer Online, As part of my high school studies we were to create a website that allowed a payroll officer to login via the company website and enter the hours that each employee worked. Using PHP and MySQL I created a site that took the input and outputed the following for printing: Payslips for employees Tax Calculation, based on wage Payroll Report - Hours worked by Employee Payment Report - Employees pay amount, tax amount and bank account details to pay them This was an interesting experience, and while we were provided with a lot of information, I researched further to gain extra functionality that we had not learnt about during lesson time) I am just starting to create Business Cards I have created business cards for: St George Property Sales (Including creating a digital version of their current logo (SPS - as seen on their website, listed above) Mummzies Cafe Pizza (Supplied with all necessary graphics, but had to match shopfront colours, which were not avaiable in a digital format) Q.Q's Tree Lopping Service (Provided with Photo, but needed to crop it to suit design of card) As yet, I have not designed any flyers but I have designed invitations in Microsoft Publisher for: Birthdays (One Mail Merged, One Handwritten Names, One Manual Entering of Names) Grade 12 "Lets Party" Party (mail merged for 30 names) Child's Birthday Party Photo Cars (6x4 with multiple photos and text)
