Background: OnlineSheetMusic is an authorized provider and one of the leading Internet-based digital sheet music stores with over 150,000 pieces of digital sheet music and guitar tablature obtained from scores of publishers including: Alfred Music Publishing, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing, EMI Music Publishing, BMG, Peer Music Publishing, and Disney Music Publishing Insights: Over the years, customers have voiced the need to access sheet music via portable electronic interfaces. OnlineSheetMusic came to us to design and develop a feature-rich user experience available through the iPad to modernize and enhance their offering for their thousands musician customers. Results: We created the OnlineSheetMusic iPad App, which allows users to assemble, browse, and annotate personal sheet music libraries by purchasing music from the online catalog and importing sheet music from external sources.
