Digital Clock Design using Proteus
OBJECTIVES • Design of a 24 hour digital clock with • displays for hour and minute hands • a setting functionality for setting the minute hand to any value of user’s choice • a setting functionality for setting the hour hand to any value of user’s choice • a resetting functionality for setting the clock at 00:00 • Implementation of the same on veroboard or PCB. In the first phase the circuit was designed with the aid of Proteus 7 Professional software. The ICs used in the design all belong to 74LS transistor-transistor logic (TTL) series.
