MS Access Treeview Hierarchy Builder

This MS Access solution allows you to easily integrate a hierarchical treeview to your database. Using two tables, one main form and as many child sub-forms as you need, the solution dynamically loads sub-forms based on the selected element of the tree. It also allows you to use a table driven approach to specify the icon used for each class of node. All the code is encapsulated in a Class that manages the interactions between the treeview control, the tables and the main form, including a contextual menu on the treeview control and drag and drop behaviours. This solution allows you to extend its functionality in order to update the database when the contents of the nodes or sub-forms changes. If you have functional data that you need to display in a clean, user friendly interface, the Hierarchy builder is for you.

Me concernant

With more than 20 years of software development experience as well as domain expertise in the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering disciplines, I am a seasoned engineer and software developer. I always look at the problem from the user's perspective and then devise the best computing platforms that serve the user's needs. I have extensive experience in all modern programming languages (C#, .NET, JavaScript, etc.), architectural strategies, design patterns, specification writing and best-practice user experience (UX) paradigms. My philosophy is to not just code. I help my clients to clearly state and understand their own requirements, design the best future-proof architecture and then help them develop, test, implement and deploy their system. I do not view my purpose and goal as computer instructions writer, I firmly believe I am here to use my skills to improve the business processes of our clients in a meaningful and measurable way.
