Stefan Sagmeister Event
Stefan Sagmeister is a professional graphic designer. This was a poster to advertise a lecture that he gave at Penn State Harrisburg. Sagmeister is a well traveled, eccentric designer, often using extreme elements, such as nudity, in his work. To capture the sense of travel, I used the statue o David. Then to capture Sagmeister\'s eccentric design, I made it look like the head was knocked off of the statue. I then used words that were discussed during his lecture as a texture at the top. The event was held by the Society of Design, so i used the pink color used by their organization.\n
About Me
I am Anna Shuey, and I am a young eager Graphic Designer and Artist. I have my Associates Degree in Graphic Design from Harrisburg Community College. My favorite projects to work on are for social issues and non profit organizations. My favorite things to design include posters, book covers, and logos. If your project is in print than I can do it. I have been working with the Adobe Creative Suite since sophomore year of high school, so I am extremely comfortable working in Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I also do fine art, illustration, and photography work. I have basic HTML knowledge, however I do not consider myself a web designer.
