The banglow is traditional rajasthani style with a central courtyard for creating a cooling effect, jharokas and stone jalli are used, stone brackets to support chajjas and the use of locally available stone is used to reduce the cost. THE COURTYARD EFFECT Due to incident solar radiation in the courtyard, the air gets warmer and rises up. Cool air form the ground level flows through the openings of rooms surrounding the courtyard, thus producing air flow. At night, the warm roof surfaces get cooled by convection and radiation.
