Hello, you lovely person(s)! I'm Tommy, a 35-year-old artist with experience working with a number of videogame companies, from big companies like Ubisoft and Rare, right through to smaller ventures like the Open University, TPLD, and High Tea Frog! My expertise is predominantly 2D art/design and animation (both hand-drawn 2d frame-by-frame and 3D via Maya) but I have experience in UI Art/Design, storyboarding, concepts, and video graphics. Expérience

Animator/Co-Founder

Sep 2017

After leaving Ubisoft Reflections, myself and two other colleagues formed "High Tea Frog", a game studio focused on games with a more upbeat attitude.

UI Artist

Jun 2011 - Aug 2017 (6 years)

During my time at Ubisoft Reflections, I worked on Driver: San Francisco, The Crew, Tom Clancy's The Division, and some more smaller projects. As a UI artist, I worked on everything from in-world markers to mini-maps, with game-to-player feedback as my focus.

Game Designer

Jan 2011 - Apr 2011 (3 months)

I briefly worked with the Open University to create an educational game which could be used in the national curriculum, based on the auditory system.

Artist

May 2009 - Dec 2010 (1 year)

At TPLD, our job was to create smaller team-building games and educational experiences which could be used in classrooms, ice-breaking sessions for businesses, and more.

Artist

Sep 2008 - Mar 2009 (6 months)

In my short contract working at Rare I had the opportunity to work on several games, including Banjo: Nuts and Bolts, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise, and the now-cancelled Kameo 2.

"Most Marketable Product" Award (2007)

4J Studios

A small award given during the post-graduate period for the uniqueness in my pitch for "Synth", an asymmetrical, cooperative Nintendo DS game.
