Writing-breathing-breathing-writing - it's all the same to me. The power held within the written word still astounds and thrills me, all at the same time. This desire has driven me to write two novels, five school plays, eight short stories, four children's books and countless articles. My parenting book has just been published on Smashwords.
Here are my what, where and hows: I have been bending and moulding minds (gently of course) for the last 20 years, as an English teacher. This of course means that I have edited more than 20 000 pieces of writing, have analysed approximately 1 000 pieces of literature/short stories/extracts, and most importantly I have convinced over 800 teenagers that creative writing is more of a blessing and less of a curse.
I am still relishing living in the Fair Cape, as it is all new to me, as an ex-Joburger. My eyes still drink (or more like gulp) in the mountains, blue oceans and un-holey roads. I plan on keeping it that way for many years to come.
I am open to receiving any writing (fiction or non-fiction) or editing work. No job is too big or small.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
