Requesting for project cancellation
Communication between parties is encouraged for the success of projects. Should cancellation of the project be inevitable, however, you can request for it for in progress projects as long as there are no in progress Milestone Payments. Note that only clients have the option to end or cancel projects.
1. On the Freelancers Awarded section on the project page, click Cancel this project.
2. Read the information provided on the pop-up window, and select a cancellation request reason.
3. Click Send Cancel project Request.
The client will be notified via email and via their account Dashboard regarding the cancellation request. If they fail to respond in 28 days, the project will be automatically cancelled.
Revoking the cancellation request
Should you wish to retract the cancellation request, click Undo cancel project request.
