Changing my username
Your username is your unique identifier on Freelancer.com. For a limited time, you can take advantage of our Username Change service if you would like to update your username.
Closing your account, and creating a new one will be your best option if you want to have a different username. Should you go with this option, make sure to use a different email address as this information should be unique in every account.
Note that your display/public name, is different from your username. Your display name is your first name and last initial (for personal accounts) or your elected company name (for corporate accounts).
In this sample of a personal account, (1) Chuck B. is the display name and (2) heychuck is the username.
