It’s easy to post a contest on Freelancer.com.
Just log in to your account, hover your mouse over Hire Freelancers at the top of the page, and select Start a Contest.
You’ll be taken to a page where you can specify the details of your contest.
First, select the category of work to be done for your contest.
Next, name your contest and state a clear description. Take your time on this as designers who enter your contest will rely on what you place in your description, so be as detailed as possible. Providing more information can help you get what you need much sooner.
Then, select the skills that designers should have. This serves only to guide prospective freelancers — meaning, they are not required to have these skills on their profile to be able to enter your contest. For example, if your contest is to create a logo, you would likely select “Logo Design” and other similar skills.
After that, set the budget for your contest prize. This is the prize that goes to the designer you select as the winner of your contest. You’ll also set how long your contest is going to run, which can be from 3 to 30 days.
Before you post your contest live on the site, you will have the option to select from a number of contest upgrades like the Guaranteed, Featured, and Top Contest upgrade. These upgrades are optional and can help you promote your contest to get more quality entries.
Once you are sure you are done, click Get Entries Now to post your contest.
Now, sit back and wait for entries to get submitted!
