I keep these deliberately lean at the start, because a CRM that fires ten notifications a day gets muted within a fortnight, and then the automation is worth nothing. 5. IMAP integration, tested in both directions so replies log against the right contact rather than sitting unlinked. 6. Reports and dashboards for lead source, pipeline by stage, and conversion rate. On the email credentials you mentioned: I would rather use an app-specific password or OAuth than your main mailbox password, and you can revoke it the moment the work is signed off. I'll map every custom lead field to its matching contact and deal field first, so nothing gets lost when a lead converts. Leads will come in through a Zoho web form with a duplicate check on email, which also lets the IMAP sync attach each conversation to the right person. A Blueprint will move deals stage by stage, asking for the details each stage needs and creating the follow-up task, with an alert when a deal sits idle too long. I'll test the email sync with real messages both ways, then build the lead source, pipeline and team dashboards.
