ADULT wordpress site. Videos not uploading, and posts with same name do not display

Hey,
I have a multi author adult site using wordpress.
Pictures upload fine, but when I got to upload a mp4 I get the error
Unexpected response from the server. The file may have been uploaded successfully. Check in the Media Library or reload the page.
Also. When a user creates a post which has the same name as an older post it will put - 2 in the permalink. For some reason all posts with -2 do not load at all. As soon as the permalink is changed the post loads fine.
I am looking for someone to fix the issue with the mp4 upload, and make it so that posts that have a duplicate name and add - 2 also load fine. They used to work fine.
The site is hosted using digital ocean and has no cpanel only access to ssh.
