The project would mainly be a final e-commerce setup and launch-readiness project for GoodPC.ca. The website is already largely completed, so I am not looking for a complete redesign. I need someone experienced with WooCommerce, Google Merchant Center, Meta Pixel and conversion tracking who can: Configure and verify Google Merchant Center and the product feed. Check the website/domain verification, shipping, return policies and other Merchant Center requirements. Resolve any issues that could prevent products from being approved. Install/configure or verify the Meta/Facebook Pixel and make sure important e-commerce events such as ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase are working. Check GA4 and conversion tracking if necessary. Test [login to view URL] on desktop and mobile. Test the complete customer journey: product page → cart → account/guest checkout → payment/checkout → order confirmation. Perform a small pre-launch audit and identify anything important that should be corrected before I start advertising. Fix the technical issues identified within the agreed scope and provide me with a short summary of what was configured and tested. I can provide the necessary access to WordPress/WooCommerce, Google Merchant Center, Meta Business Manager and Google Analytics once we select the freelancer. I would prefer someone who has already launched or troubleshooted e-commerce stores and has direct experience with Google Merchant Center product approvals and Meta tracking. Website: [login to view URL] Type of site: E-commerce website selling refurbished laptops/computers in Canada Platform: Specify WordPress/WooCommerce if that is still what [login to view URL] uses. Current status: Website is mostly completed; this is not a full website redesign project. Main objective: Make the website technically ready for product publishing, advertising, conversion tracking and sales. Google Merchant Center: Configure the account/feed, connect the website, check product attributes, shipping/returns information, resolve potential errors and make sure products are eligible for approval. Meta/Facebook: Install or verify Meta Pixel, connect it correctly to the website and Meta Business Manager, and verify important events. Tracking: Test events such as ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase. Ideally also verify Google Analytics 4 / Google Ads conversion tracking if needed. Website testing: Desktop + mobile testing, product pages, navigation, cart, customer account, checkout, emails and basic purchase flow. Audit: Identify anything important missing before launch—trust elements, policies, checkout problems, technical issues, SEO basics, speed/mobile issues, etc. Deliverable: Freelancer should fix what is within the agreed scope, not only provide an audit report, and then provide a short summary of what was configured/tested. Experience required: WooCommerce, Google Merchant Center, Meta Pixel/Conversions API, GA4 and e-commerce conversion tracking.

Hello!! Your WooCommerce store needs a final launch-readiness check covering Google Merchant Center, product approvals, Meta Pixel events, GA4 tracking, checkout testing, and fixing issues before advertising begins. * Do you already have Google Merchant Center connected? * Are your Meta Business Manager and Pixel accounts ready? * Which payment gateway should be included in the checkout testing? The store will be audited across desktop and mobile, with product feeds, Merchant Center requirements, shipping policies, Meta events, GA4 conversions, checkout, emails, and the complete customer journey carefully tested. Issues within scope will be fixed rather than simply reported. Relevant WooCommerce and conversion-tracking projects have been completed, helping stores launch smoothly and track every important customer action accurately. Looking forward to discussing the project in chat. Best regards Farhin B

Hi, this is exactly the kind of launch-readiness work I take on — WooCommerce is core to my stack, and I regularly handle Google Merchant Center, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking setups as part of e-commerce launches. Plan: - Verify WooCommerce site/domain against Google Merchant Center requirements: product feed, shipping/return policy pages, site verification, resolve any flagged issues blocking product approval - Install/verify Meta Pixel, connect to Meta Business Manager, confirm ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, and Purchase events fire correctly (checking Conversions API too for reliability post-iOS14) - Verify GA4 and Google Ads conversion tracking if applicable - Full desktop + mobile test of the customer journey: product page → cart → checkout (guest/account) → payment → order confirmation → email delivery - Pre-launch audit: trust elements, policy pages, checkout friction, speed/mobile issues, basic SEO gaps - Fix issues found within agreed scope, then deliver a short summary of what was configured and tested — not just a report Ready to start once WordPress/WooCommerce, Google Merchant Center, Meta Business Manager, and GA4 access are shared. Roughly how many products are currently in the feed, and do you have a target date for starting ads?

hello, The piece that most often blocks a launch like this is Google Merchant Center product approval, since that is where refurbished-computer stores specifically get caught, because Merchant Center has particular requirements around condition attributes, so every product needs its "refurbished" condition declared correctly in the feed or Google disapproves them, and the shipping and return policies have to match what Merchant Center expects before anything goes live. So I would prioritise getting the feed clean and the products genuinely approved, since advertising cannot start until that clears, and it is the most common thing that quietly holds a store back. The tracking side is the other half that must be right before you spend on ads, since a Pixel that fires ViewContent but misses Purchase means you are advertising blind, unable to see what actually converts, so I would verify each event, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, and Purchase, actually fires with the right data through both the Pixel and ideally the Conversions API, not just assume the plugin set them up. Testing the full customer journey end to end, product to confirmation on desktop and mobile, is what confirms the checkout itself does not silently break. Since you want fixes and not just an audit, I would resolve the issues within scope as I find them and give you the short summary of what was configured and tested. Is the store confirmed on WooCommerce, and is there a product feed plugin already generating the Merchant Center feed, or should setting that up be part of this? And do you have the Conversions API in mind alongside the Pixel, since server-side tracking is worth setting up before advertising for accuracy? have a nice day.

Hello ⭐️, Refurbished electronics face unique GMC approval hurdles because Google flags them as "used" unless condition attributes and warranty policies are structured exactly right. Most stores get suspended not from broken pixels but from missing refurbishment disclosures in the feed schema. I would prioritize validating your product data against Google’s refurbished policy first, then verify Meta events fire correctly during guest checkout where most tracking drops off. This sequence prevents wasted ad spend on disapproved products while ensuring conversion data is clean before you scale. Do your product listings already include GTINs and manufacturer part numbers, or will we need to map those identifiers manually for feed compliance?

I've integrated Google Merchant Center feeds and Meta Pixel/CAPI for WooCommerce stores with pre-launch validation, so this is right in my wheelhouse. I'll verify Merchant Center domain ownership via DNS TXT or HTML file, audit feed attributes for Canadian pricing/currency compliance, and resolve disapprovals from missing shipping/return policies or invalid GTINs; Meta Pixel will be installed via PixelYourSite or manual snippet with CAPI fallback to ensure event deduplication and purchase tracking; GA4 e-commerce events will be checked via Enhanced Ecommerce or manual dataLayer pushes; cross-device testing will cover cart sessions, guest checkout flows, and payment gateways like Stripe/PayPal; any critical issues—unsecured checkout, policy gaps, or slow TTFB—will be fixed in scope; summary of changes and tested events will be provided after validation. Thanks, Andrii

Hello, the first thing I'd check is how the product feed and Merchant Center setup align with WooCommerce attributes, since mismatches there usually block approvals right away. I’ve done a few WooCommerce launches where the main blocker wasn’t the feed itself but the way shipping zones, return policies and tax rules were mapped in both Merchant Center and WooCommerce. On one store we had to rebuild the feed mapping because SKUs and GTINs were pulled from the wrong fields. I’d start by auditing the feed settings in Merchant Center, then verify that each product’s shipping, tax and policy attributes match what WooCommerce exposes in the feed. After that I’d test the Pixel events using the Meta Test Events tool and fire them manually through the browser console to catch any double-firing or missing parameters. Finally I’d run the full checkout flow on desktop and mobile, checking for console errors and event mismatches in GA4. A few items I’ll need from you: admin access to WooCommerce, Merchant Center account ownership, Pixel and GA4 admin rights, and the store’s shipping/return policy documents so I can mirror them correctly in Merchant Center. Thanks, Lazar.

Hi - Truong here "WOOCOMMERCE E-COMMERCE LAUNCH" — you need the store, product feed, and tracking fully checked before advertising. I’ll audit WooCommerce from product page through checkout, then verify Merchant Center feed and approval requirements, Meta events, GA4 tracking, shipping/returns, and mobile behavior. I’ll fix issues within scope rather than just handing back an audit. The key check is making sure browser and server-side tracking don’t create duplicate purchases or missing conversions. Is Meta Conversions API already connected, or is only the browser Pixel currently installed? Looking forward to working with you.
