Project description:

I'm looking to understand how to build a Z-wave network and implement it. I wanted to understand more about the hardware and firmware used to build a Z-wave network. I already have a PCB board designed for manufacturing but this needs another, better version of the board and I'll need to understand if my objectives with this board are possible. My goal is to understand and create a PCB using ESP32 chip acting as the brain, allowing me to program attached zigbee and zwave chips that will broadcast signal, connect to respective devices, send and receive commands from those devices. Also onboard the ESP32 which has wifi and BLE integrated allowing me to send and receive those messages/commands to the Cloud. The only aspect I'd like to focus on here though is the full PCB integration of ESP32 and those chips, if something like this is possible, recommendations/drawbacks. I have the hardware pieces used below.

*As a note, I'm looking for hardware design and protocol implementation here which does take a lot of detail, not looking to purchase and use an already existing product from the market. Please let me know if you're able to assist. Thanks

Hardware on PCB:

Z-Uno (One of the tasks is to replace Z-uno with ZGM130S037HGN2R)

ESP32-C3-DEVKITM-1

LD29150DT33R

RC2411CT-ZNM

USB-C31-A-D-VT-CS1

**I have the BOM, Gerber, and PDF documents of the PCB design, please ask to see them**

Some questions I need answered.

1. is ESP32, wifi, BLE, zigbee, zwave implementation possible where ESP32 is acting as the brain allowing me to control both chips to send, receive commands and information? what are some draw backs to this?

2. How will I install the bootloaders on these chips to make them compatible with Arduino ide. The esp ard nano or zuno board I use already have bootloaders inside them to make them compatible with Arduino ide.

3. What will the design, power, dimensions, manufacturing cost be.
