Hello, I am in the middle of switching hosting companies. The company that designed my website is giving me a lot of problems and I fear is keeping away some crucial files from me. They sent me the different folders for images and pictures and also my website database file. The Database file (Microsoft SQL) was sent as a zipped backup file. I unzipped it. It is a file with the .BAK extension. I need help to restore it. The new hosting company says it is missing the MDF file and a WEBconfig file. I don't know if it is right or wrong. Anyhow, I need to know if the DB file can be restored AS IT IS.
Please let me know how to send the database (BAK) file to you and if you think that it can be restored. Our current hosting company whith whom we are having problems is shutting off the website tomorrow, Feb. 18 @ midnight. Please HELP!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE...
