Day-to-day work revolves around three core techniques—Swedish massage for general relaxation, deep tissue for chronic muscle tension, and hot stone sessions for that extra level of luxury. Confidently switching among these is essential, as many appointments combine them in a single service. State or national licences aren’t mandatory for this role; however, if you already hold one, feel free to highlight it. What matters most is proven hands-on experience, solid anatomy knowledge, impeccable draping and sanitation habits, and a friendly manner that keeps clients rebooking.
