Fixing an issue with Owl Caroussel on Internet Explorer

We manage various websites about animals, including [url removed, login to view] & [url removed, login to view]
On these websites, we use Owl Carousel on various pages, including the homepage (see the "A la une" area, for instance).
It works perfectly well on all browsers, except for Internet Explorer. The carousel doesn't load on Internet Explorer, hence the area where it's supposed to display remains empty.
An error also shows up:
Object doesn't support property or method 'owlCarousel'
(see attached screenshot).
Then, if you simply refresh the page, the carousel would display perfectly well.
We even tried upgrading Owl Carousel to the latest version, but it didn't make any change, the problem is still there.
We're looking for someone who could fix this bug.
