a. Graphics design
i. We will design the site graphics for a more modern look and to allow the page to load faster. We are proponents of the eight Best Practices of User Interface Engineering and believe that content forces design. Your users will want to find the information they are seeking in one click from the main page (which should load in six seconds or less using a 56K dial-up modem). The new web site will then have the opportunity to present the users the information that they did not even know they wanted! We will use “eye-scan” physiology to position important elements on the page coupled with psychologically appropriate color choices as design elements. This will make a stellar user experience. The site will be re-designed to conform to the new ADA recommendations for web sites that take effect at the end of 2004. You will be able to follow the “building” of the site on our test servers.
b. Contact/Download form
i. The user is given the opportunity to download an acrobat brochure of selected clothing and accessories.
ii. On submit, the data is posted to a database and the user is taken to a thank you page where they are directed to view the email sent to them with a link to the brochure
iii. The client is sent an email notification of the download with the contact information and a link to the database application.
iv. The data may be viewed, edited, deleted, amended and downloaded as an excel spread sheet.

d. Content Management
i. We will provide a custom Content Management System for the new web site. This application is built into the web site and will allow designated staff the ability to view, create, modify and delete content on designated web site pages. The application emulates a word processor and allows the upload of images, videos, and other files. The application allows the user to make changes to the web page without any knowledge or training in html or web page creation. The application is 100% web browser-based and no other software is required. The Content Management System can be used by any computer, anywhere, running I.E. 5.5 or above web browsers
e. Web Hosting—A hosting solution was requested and we recommend:
i. The recommended hosting package for this site includes:
• Hosting on Windows 2000 or 2003 servers or Unix Based Servers
• WebMail© accounts in your domain, accessible through both a browser-based interface and traditional mail clients (Outlook, Eudora, Netscape, etc.).
• WebTrends© Enterprise Statistics Service or similar, which logs traffic and usage data for the site across a vast number of categories. Data and 64 reports are available through a browser-based interface and are incremented in hourly units.
ii. Cost for the hosting is $24.95/month. Discounts for annual prepayment can bring the cost down to $249.48/year. We will waive the set-up fee.
iii. Hosting cost is not included in this proposal
iv. The elimination of WebTrends© will lower the cost to $19.95 per month or $199.08/year if paid annually.
f. Misc
i. You will be able to watch the building of your site on our servers
ii. We accept all major credit cards and checks. For sites under $1,000 payment in full is required unless other arrangements are made. For sites $1,000 to $5,000 a down payment of 70% is required with 30% due upon completion. For sites over $5,000 terms are based on a schedule of deliverables as defined in the contract.
iii. You will provide us with photos and textual content unless arrangements are made for our photographers and copywriters to become involved. You will provide one representative of your company as our contact for all inquiries and correspondence.
iv. This is a "turnkey" project. There are no hidden or recurring fees from us and consultations are always free.
v. We will provide site update and debugging for a period of one year from the date of site completion at no charge to you.
vi. We will provide all training as necessary to the staff as a part of this proposal.
vii. Search Engine submission will commence immediately after the final publishing of the site to the designated server of your choice.
viii. We will provide META tags and Keywords via Wordtracker that users are actually typing into search engines to find similar sites as yours.
