PEMBA is a lighting retailer and automation dealer. We have price lists in excel and pdf and have some access to pictures from manufacturers. I have a web site [url removed, login to view] that I developed which is hosted by VistaPrint. I need the following help: 1) design the Ecommerce portion of our web presence with the goal of making it easy to add product information and to keep our monthly costs down. 2) help us to develop a process of getting new product information for our eCommerce sited 3) get us stated by taking what we have (price lists, and some links to pictures) and possibly using web scaping to get us going. so goals: 1) get ecommerce going with 5 product lines to start 2) develop this to generate lots of sales, 2) is easy to maintain, 3) has lots of flexibility, and 4) does not have expensive costs from cart services.
note: We are a lighting showroom and use xologic to sell online and allow customers to send us wish lists. XOlogic is good about product info but have limited product information and we can't add to it. Also their service is expensive. I like xologic's functionality but don't like how they present the information. If you go to [url removed, login to view] and shop online you will see the XOlogic online sales. We do not get sales this way. Also we are a unique company and we sell: lighting and automation. We also provide design and engineering services for lighting. We sell and design lighting controls. We sell and install automation systems such as Savant and Fibaro. So image is important. I am not opposed to multiple web sites but I am looking for creative help on the strategy to do this and then someone to get product on the site and give us a way to maintain or employ you to maintain.
I would like to hear how you can help and hear about examples of work you have done before. thank you
