This job requires that you do this for each webpage:
1. Improve overall page layouts by:
a. adding images
b. adding video
c. adding headers, sub-headers, and arranging the content so that it's scannable and easy to read.
2. Improve the SEO by:
a. Identify a main keyword phrase and other best keywords to use for SEO by, first, determining what the article is really about and then, second, by researching keywords using online tools.
b. Plug the keywords (and “natural” variations) in sparingly (3 or 4 times). Bold a few of them.
c. Use the main keyword phrase in the Title, Meta title, h1, and first 155 characters of article
d. Use variations of keywords in h2 and h3
e. Use variations of keyword in Meta description, make it less than 155 characters and make it compelling for search results viewers
f. Add a photo or two with good Meta data: name the file something relevant before uploading, choose a good title, alt text, and description
g. Link in to relevant and important pages within the site about 3 times with good anchor text that are keywords for the page it’s going to
h. Link out of the site about once with good anchor text that are keywords about where you are linking to. Try to make sure these pages are authority and trusted sites that are relevant to the topic
i. Add facebook comments plugin
j. Add a featured image for the use of telling the facebook plugin which image to use (This is done with a plugin)
k. Keep the URL relevant and user friendly
l. Use old (object) embed code for videos and place it in strategically (SEO wise) surrounded by relevant text.
In order to do this job well, you will need to be familiar with the whole site so that you'll know which pages to reference and link to. You will also need to be able to identify high authority/ high relevant sites to link out to.
