Video / Animation required to be placed onto a website.
Component 1 - Video
a. Firstly. Video showing few persons riding around in a disabled person’s scooter (mobility scooter). Sample scooter picture is enclosed although this may vary. Video should be composed of clips of say 3 persons who are riding in this, and initial clips should be chosen on basis of their trajectories and size of image so that transition is extremely smooth, almost as if the video is showing one and the same person. The video should be 60 seconds long, and should concentrate on showing the rider transverse various bumps, potholes and kerbs on the road. The emphasis should be to show that when the rider is moving over the obstacles in the road his/her head is not following a smooth trajectory but that the head is following a trajectory that is bumpy as well.
b. Secondly. Once this video is assembled then whole video should be stylized and turned into an animation of same duration, so to remove any surroundings and to emphasize the following;
• Outline of the body of the rider in one partially transparent colour (pale green), with the rider’s eyes and brain animated and highlighted (bright blue). The head will follow the rugged trajectory mentioned in 1 above. The animated brain and eyes must reflect their true position inside a moving head. A trajectory line will have to be attached to the brain so to show last 5 seconds of movement.
• Outline body of the scooter (pale cream), with wheels highlighted (dark green) and
• Outline bumps and obstacles and potholes and kerbs on surface the rider is travelling over, general topography highlighted in pale blue with potholes, kerbs etc highlighted in bright orange. Allow for colour schemes to changed once after first draft.
c. Finally. The animation prepared under heading 2 above should now be changed, insofar that the general journey of the rider and scooter will remain the same, but the trajectory of the head and eyes as well as the scooter wheels will be smoothed out. As if the wheels are gliding over the obstacles and amortising any kerbs and otherwise obstacles. Therefore 3rd part of this animation again 60 sec long will have to show an imagined and desired trajectory of wheels over the obstacles, as if intention was to smooth the ride. For purposes of this exercise the connection between the body of the scooter and its wheels will have to be ignored (whereas in real life the wheels are positioned rigidly against the scooter, in this animation the wheels will be shown to be gliding-amortizing-compensating any riding surface imperfections). Scooter body will be idealized and shown as if it was detached from the wheels and generally following the centroid of wheels when they are in different positions. The body of the rider as well as his head and eyes will now follow a smoothed trajectory and the eyes and brain will now be leaving behind a smoothed trajectory trail. All colours will remain as above except for the brain/eyes which will be light green.
Component 2 - Website
Video and animations should be produced with adequate software so to enable all 3 films to be loaded on a website and then viewed by site visitor online. Download link will have to be provided for 3 component films if users wish to download this.
A single page website to showcase these 3 videos/animations has to be created. In addition to the above links the site will also have to feature 2-3 further pages of some separate images and descriptions, general links and project details.
The site would have to look neat and streamlined, something like ODESK or PAYPAL. General intention is that the website side of work should be done in ASP or PHP but open to suggestions.
All images and videos mentioned above will be sourced-created-assembled by the Contractor.
All raw data, intellectual property, videos, codes etc will remain in Employer's ownership.
