I have a Microsoft Office document with text and images that needs to be converted to HTML with some very good CSS knowledge, which pushes past my expertise. I can do the basics, but this document, as you see, needs some dedication in terms of font variation and formatting that makes it a bit tedious. The complete file would consiste of one HTML document that appears essentially just like the MS Word document, with the attached CSS style sheet and an images folder to upload to the web.
Yes, I can run it through some "conversions" and software that will convert it to HTML and set up the CSS, but that isn't very elegant, and it doesn't maintain the text variations, colors, etc very well. It's sort of unwieldy to set it all up to look the same. The main body of the page should be set to a fixed width, about just exactly like the MS Word document has everything laid out.
Take a look at the document and give me a sense of how easy it would be to convert it to HTML.
If anyone bidding felt the need to display the first page or two in HTML to showcase that you're better than just a "convert from to HTML" right out of MS Word, that would do much to prove you can and have the expertise to pull off the whole project. There would be some additional pages like this one attached as well down the road shortly.
* My apologies for that last project posting, the attached file was corrupted and it appeared in editing the post I could not ad a new file or delete the corrupt one, so I closed the job out, it appeared that was the only thing I could do..
