We are a London based film and TV company. Our films are known for their gentle human quality and are beautifully crafted.
We have an existing website that's a bit tired and is in need of a refreshing makeover. Thinking of a total redesign using the current content which is mostly video clips of our work and some text. Essentially looking to make it simpler, elegant and minimal. It's on Concrete5, thinking of moving to Wordpress. In the update we need to add a News/Blog section we can fully manage ourselves. Plus the usual links to our social media pages and to an external blog run by one of our directors.
We will be setting up a new Vimeo channel for our company and we want our video clips on the new site to be viewed in a Vimeo player linked to the channel. Advice on making our videos searchable on Google and making our videos viewable on mobile also a welcome addition.
Intuitive and easy navigation are a must. Beauty in simplicity. We don't want the site to get in the way of seeing the work.
In the process we want to re-brand the company with a new name, the domain for which is already registered. We also want to change hosts and would welcome advice on this. And our current email set up has had its life phished out of it. So looking for a secure reliable host.
We already have the content and all the elements and are ready to go.
So if you have an eye for simple uncluttered design, love typography, are super geeky tecky but won't blind us with tech jargon, you may well be the person to help us relaunch our film company.
Because our directors wear different hats outside the company they're thinking of setting up their own personal websites along the main one. If this job goes well, those will be next.
Current site sections
Unless we come up with an elegant way of displaying our press cuttings, we will delete this section and add cuttings to each film's own page under the video clip box.
Thank you to all those who made a bid on this project. New to Freelancer I should have stated clearly that I was only looking to work someone local.
This was also posted on elance. Once the time is over we will make a choice.
