We are in the process of developing a comprehensive enterprise wide system for a behavioral health organization. It is critical that this system be electronic health system compliant. For most of the functions, the organization does not use an automated system and the users have very low level knowledge with regard to systems. We are looking for an exceptional business requirements analyst to work directly with users to gather their requirements for automation, review and to optimize the existing work flow to best practices standards, while ensuring that the system is fully in compliance with electronic health records requirements. The key to this job is someone who has demonstrated working in a similar environment, with exceptional ability to communicate with both users and developers, with exceptional attention to detail to minimize the back and forth which wastes time and money.
Specific requirements are as follows:
Experienced and proven business analyst to gather functional requirements to develop the flow chart, use case, developer narrative, wireframes and any other tools required to ensure the most efficient process for this web-based system. We are building this system using a modular format using an iterative process. The system will have several modules including:
(4) Compliance / Reporting
(5) Clinical Management
(6) Mobile Access
• Interact with business stakeholders.
• Gather business requirements and get user sign-off.
• Critically evaluate the existing workflow and adjust to optimize the workflow by embedding best practices.
• Obtain user sign-off.
• Create all relevant documentation for each step of the business.
• Create "as-is" scenario and take it to "to-be" scenario.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs
• Create User Stories using preferred methods
• Document software functional requirements specifications (SRS)
• Excellent documentation and Wire Framing skills
• Functional Testing Skills
• Basic Database Knowledge/familiarity
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE BUILDING ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS SYSTEM IS HIGHLY PREFERRED.
It is preferred that the Candidate also has PROJECT MANAGEMENT Experience as he will be closely managing and driving the project in conjunction with the head of our development team. Our culture is very results oriented, has little tolerance for sub-par performance, is very fast paced and very communications oriented. The successful candidate will be the third person performing this role so will have to demonstrate that he/she is exceptionally capable of getting the job done from start to finish. We are approximately 20 to 25% into the project.
This will be a long-term contract position.
