We will send uart message to this device and it will execute the command as per the brightness level needed. What kind of lights are you planning to control. It should be tested with simple dimmer available in the market, some of the LED lights are not suitable for dimming using phase control technique. to securely access the esp32 , we can use firebase data base to control the hardware or if you have a server, we can use mqtt. Another option is to use Raspberry PI anywhere control. Either way we have to have some external website to send message or securely access esp32
