Alumni Directory Website Development

The finished website’s single, clear purpose is to help our alumni stay connected, so every design and technical choice should serve that goal. Core feature • Member directory – searchable and neatly organised. Each profile must display three data groups: contact information, alumni year / batch, and current professional details. I need an intuitive front-end search or filter (by name, year, company, industry, etc.) and a secure back-end form so alumni can create or update their own profiles. Essential requirements • Clean, mobile-responsive layout. • Secure user registration / login with basic moderation tools. • Admin dashboard where I can export the directory to CSV and manage profile fields. • Clear documentation explaining how to add or change fields in the future. Tech stack Open to WordPress-plugin solutions, custom PHP + MySQL, or a lightweight JAMstack build—whichever you are fastest and most comfortable with, provided it remains easy for a non-technical admin to maintain. Acceptance criteria 1. Directory loads in <2 s on desktop and mobile (tested with PageSpeed). 2. Search returns accurate results even with partial keywords. 3. Profile creation and edit flows are fully tested with email verification enabled. 4. Admin export produces a clean CSV containing all required fields.
