The Joyfess Project - Voice Acting, Vict.

This is a Voice Acting agreement between SinanDira (hereinafter referred to as the Employer) and the Freelancer where the Freelancer is expected to deliver professional voice acting to the Employer as per his scripts & specifications.

Payment for this project will be based on finished word count.

For characters with script totals ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 words, the rate will be $[url removed, login to view]

Usually, however, a script with a total of 1,000 - 3,000 words will be broken into smaller installments (sometimes as little as 200 words). Each time the Freelancer does one of these installments, a milestone equaling the installment size will be created, then once they have sent their final work to the satisfaction of the Employer, the milestone amount will be released.

For example, a 200-words installment is sent to the Freelancer (i.e. for a character with total script size of 1,000 - 3,000 words). A milestone equaling 200 * $0.05 + 11% (So that the Freelancer receive net $10. We cover FL fees for all of our voice actors) = $11.11 is created. Once the Freelancer send their final work docs and the work is approved by the Employer, the $11.11 milestone amount is released to the Freelancer (Note: we repeat that this additional 11% is meant to cover FL fees. This is subject to change within limits as FL changes as well).

For secondary characters with scripts totaling less than 1,000 words, we offer fixed payments instead of word count based rates.

The amount of such fixed payments (as mentioned in the previous item of this agreement) will be decided by mutual consent between the Employer and the Freelancer, but as a general reference point, we pay $10 (net) for voicing secondary, not so-much-talkative characters with scripts totaling 100 words or less.

The Freelancer is always expected to arrange their final work in OGG format AND in separate audio files as requested by the employer (Each line should be in a separate file). The audio files should be professionally finished, free from undesired noise and without long pauses. We wish each audio file to have no pauses either at its beginning or end but a tiny pause of less than 0.2 second after the voice sound has totally died away for the purpose of not sounding interrupted.
