Hi - So what I am trying to do is to tell Excel (via VBA) to go to a specific address (which actually opens a PDF file) and to read/pull information from that PDF file and put it in a spreadsheet so that I can then use it further. For instance, here isn example:
[url removed, login to view]
I would like to point Excel to go to that page, select everthing from the PDF (as I don't think there is a way to only pull certain information)...so maybe tell Excel to do "CTRL + A" then "CTRL + C" (I'm thinking this might be an easy way to accomplish this)...and then we just paste all of the information onto an Excel spreadsheet, and then I can easily run through the rows/columns and get the information I am interested in.
If the file first needs to be saved, then opened from a local machine in order for information to be extracted, that is fine. Whatever works is fine with me.
Any bid that starts with "dir sir/madam" or something along those lines will be IGNORED! I will pick a person that sounds like a human being and that isn't using copy/pasted text to bid on multiple jobs every minute. I also have extensive knowledge of VBA/[url removed, login to view] so I know this isn't too complicated of a task, so bid accordignly.
