I have a macro in word which will convert a word file into an excel file (using an excel file as a template) and do some post processing. At the moment this is run via a custom section of the ribbon in Word with a button that runs the macro and the template is stored on my hard drive.
I have approximately 40 people who I want to share this macro with. I want some sort of installation file which will do the following:
Insert the macro code into each person's Word module so it is accessible in each instance of word that they open
Add a custom section to the ribbon with a button to activate the macro
Copy the template file onto a folder on the users C:\.
I'm also open to suggestions if there is a better way to do this. When submitting your bid please outline the approach you would take.
