This position starts immediately.
I have an immediate need for someone that considers themselves an Expert in Excel VB Macro creation. This individual will work directly with me over the next few hours/days. Must be able to collaborate remotely (view my desktop via logmein, teamviewer, etc) and talk via Skype. Must speak good english.
The purpose of this project is to build an excel spreadsheet that will control scheduling for a parts manufacturer.
The macro will basically contain a loop that would run for every available hour in the day (increasing the hour number after each cycle). During the loop it will check various data within the spreadsheet (mostly 1's and 0's being used as on/off switches) to determine which tool is available to load into that time slot. It will then allocate the tool as "in use" and extrapolate out the number of hours in the schedule that the tool says it needs to complete. It would then move onto the next available position and run the same thing again. Once each position has been allocated (assuming a tool was available), it would cycle to the next 1 hour row, and continue.
After each hour, and hour of time would be deducted to those in work to eventually free them up to be allocated again within the schedule.
Again, you MUST speak English, have Skype (Microphone & Sound), be able to follow me by watching my screen remotely, and be good at excel VB macro's... espeically loops and if/then!
