If I can summarize my qualities into 3 things, it would be this: 1. Reliability This is one of the most important ones. A huge number of my clients told me they’d been let down by flaky VAs who messed them about, didn’t report back on their progress, or simply didn’t deliver it at all. Well, if they have anything to say, it would be that I am a timely person that ensures deliverables are met. Also, if there are timeline challenges, I would inform you in advance that I would need additional time, this would give you less of a headache. 2. Good communication skills The other thing I do is to let my clients know how their work is going, and also establish how and when I should update them before I begin each new task. I had one client who liked Monday updates, one who was happy to just let me get on with the task and chuck it into Dropbox when I’m done and another who liked daily feedback. I updated most clients by email but also, it depends if you want to be updated via whatsapp etc. 3. Resourcefulness VAs are required to provide solutions and solve problems for clients, thats something I can do. I have the ability to work around a problem and find out how to do something.
