I'm an entrepreneur who suffers from not having enough time, and I am looking for a VA to help keep me organised. This position needs someone reliable, dedicated and very organised.
The position will start out at 10 hours per week.
Listening and Comprehension - We will meet once per day for up to an hour, you will need to create accurate notes from these meetings and send them to me via e-mail.
Data Entry - From the meeting notes above, you will have a series of tasks, notes and updates to enter into our systems. All training on related systems is provided.
Dictation - I will want you to write out a note or recording, and e-mail it to me or a client.
Organisation skills - You need to have excellent organisational skills. Data entry tasks need to be completed on time, and you will need to prioritise your own work to make sure tasks are getting completed.
Calendar management - You will be managing my calendar and scheduling time with each task or appointment where necessary.
Attention to detail - when researching, entering information or updating records, your attention to detail will be crucial. You will be responsible for creating new tasks, updating existing tasks, and making sure the most important information is updated and recorded.
Additional tasks will be added as time goes on.
We are in Australia, so this will need to be performed mostly between 9-5 AEST.
The person we are looking for:
You'll need an excellent command of English.
You'll need to be confident asking questions until you understand 100%, I don't expect a mind reader, but I'll want to know if you're not sure before you begin a task.
Self management - If I give you ten tasks to do, I don't want them all done poorly and at the last minute.
Accountability - If you don't care about your job, or about the tasks you're given, then this job isn't right for you.
Reliability - This is very important. You need to have time for this job, and be available every day for up to 4 hours. Hours will increase as your competency increases.
Communication - You need to always be reachable, either available at all times or at agreed intervals.
You must have a reliable internet connection.
You will need to be positive and flexible. Good computer skills are required, as is the ability to use your initiative.
