Administrative Assistant

A creative company is looking to hire a professional and experienced Admin Assistant/Purchasing Assistant in North Hollywood, CA. This unique opportunity offers the ideal candidate to gain some great skills in administrative support and operations. We are looking for candidates that are excellent multitaskers, ambitious & articulate.

The team is searching for an organized, dedicated and hardworking employee to accurately entered client orders and provide great customer service.

Admin Assistant/Purchasing Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Administrative support to the marketing, accounting and HR department

• Review purchase orders & invoices for discrepancies

• Maintain communication between vendors

• Work on administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, copies, etc.

• Work on projects and manage coordinating projects

• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners

• Type in data provided directly from customers

• Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

• Verify data by comparing it to source documents

• Update existing data

• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure accuracy

Required Skills

• 3+ years’ office experience

• Experience with data entry

• 10-key speed of at least 8,000 KPH with minimal errors

• Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to financial matters

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent communicator and quick learner

• Must have advanced excel skills
