Vietnamese Microdrama QC Freelancer We're looking for a native Vietnam freelancer to perform linguistic and audiovisual QC for Vietnamese microdrama content. The work will primarily cover two stages: 1. Script & Subtitle QC * Translation accuracy and completeness * Natural, conversational Vietnamese * Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and word choice * Localization and cultural appropriateness * Character tone, emotion, relationships, and consistency * Names and terminology consistency across episodes * Subtitle readability, line breaks, and missing/extra dialogue * Dubbing speakability, ensuring lines sound natural and fit the available timing * Alignment with the source video and story context 2. Final Dubbed Video QC * Pronunciation, clarity, acting, emotion, and intonation * Character voice consistency * Lip-sync/dialogue timing * Missing, duplicated, incorrect, or cut-off dialogue * Subtitle accuracy, timing, readability, and synchronization * Noticeable audio, on-screen text, or video issues Feedback should be specific and actionable, ideally including the timestamp/line, issue, and suggested correction. We're looking for genuine issues affecting meaning, naturalness, localization, or viewer experience, not personal stylistic preferences. What I'd actually be watching for in the script and subtitle pass: whether the Vietnamese sounds like something a person would say out loud rather than something translated, whether a character's tone holds steady across episodes, and whether each line is speakable in the time the dub allows. Those three break most often, and they are the ones a non-native reviewer misses. On the dubbed video I check pronunciation, emotion and intonation, voice consistency per character, lip-sync drift, and any dropped or doubled lines against the script. I also wrote my own subtitle checker, so before I start reading I already have a list of every reading-speed violation, over-long line, three-line cue, overlap and inconsistent character name across the batch - with timecodes. That clears the mechanical errors up front and leaves my hours for the judgement calls. I'll do one episode free first so you can see how I report before you commit. $25/hr, 20 hrs a week.
