We Party for a Living is an event company that provides people with the tools needed to celebrate themselves and the people in their community. We are looking for highly motivated Videographers to help us achieve our vision to work on corporate and creative projects across a wide range of disciplines. To be successful as a videographer you must be able to understand our marketing needs, our audience and work creatively to produce the desired product. This position will require an excellent eye, creative vision, and skills that cover a wide range of media applications. And be familiar with best practices for capturing, editing, and archiving video content.
Establish a clear understanding of the video’s vision and purpose for the video's creation
Plan, storyboard, and execute video shoots based on project goals and creative briefs.
Edit videos to include audios, additional clips and other important aspects of the project
Ensure the project follows a logical sequence
Consult with management throughout the project
Produce compelling content that entices and engages our audience
Gather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensuring each is updated in the correct format
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in videography equipment and software.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and delivering high-quality content on time.
Operate editing systems used for video media and effects
Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to specifications
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Collaborate with the team to understand design needs, conceptualize visual ideas, and translating concepts into compelling design solutions.
Assist in creating visual content such as logos, posters, brochures, banners, infographics, and other marketing materials that effectively communicate messages and enhance branding.
Understanding and applying color theory to create designs that evoke specific emotions, create harmony, and convey the desired mood or message
Ad Hoc and miscellaneous tasks and projects
At least two years of video editing experience
Advanced knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Solid understanding of video codecs, formats, and compression settings for different platforms.
Familiar with social media apps and stays current on the platforms latest updates and trends
Ability to work alongside a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
Ability to capture professional quality videos
A strong eye for visual composition.
Basic understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Creative experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
Able to give and receive constructive criticism
Graphic Design skills and capabilities including familiarity with software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Familiarity with branding principles and the ability to design materials that maintain consistent visual identity across different platforms.
