We’re hiring a Creative Strategist to own end-to-end paid social creative strategy for a DTC brand. You’ll work closely with the Founder, Media Buyer, Video Editor, and Designer to research the market, develop winning messaging angles, write clear creative briefs, produce AI static ad concepts, and iterate based on performance data. Primary channel is Meta (Facebook/Instagram), supported by landing page / advertorial funnel creative and copy. What you’ll own (end-to-end) Customer research → messaging angles → creative briefs → AI static production → performance-based iteration. Key Responsibilities 1) Market + Customer Research Research competitors, offers, funnels, and creative patterns Build customer avatar docs (pain points, desired outcomes, objections, language) Extract “winning hooks” and angles from ads, reviews, Reddit, comments, etc. 2) Creative Ideation + Direction Create weekly/monthly creative roadmap (themes, angles, concepts) Write clear briefs for static + video (hook, structure, scenes, b-roll, overlays, CTA) Build testing matrices (angle × hook × format × offer) 3) Copywriting Draft/improve landing page copy, advertorial copy, and quiz copy Write short-form ad copy (primary text, headlines, descriptions) and script outlines 4) Creative Production (AI Statics) Generate static concepts using AI tools (Midjourney / Nano Banana / OpenAI image tools, etc.) Maintain brand consistency (palette, type style, layout discipline) Deliver ready-to-launch assets to editor/designer 5) Collaboration Work async daily/weekly with editor and designer to ship quickly Provide clear feedback aligned to brand + performance 6) Performance Iteration Review results (thumbstop, CTR, CPC, CPA, CVR) and propose next tests Kill/scale creative based on data and learnings What “Good” Looks Like in 30 Days You deliver a structured creative testing plan and run weekly cycles You consistently ship briefs and assets without heavy oversight Creative velocity increases (more variants, stronger structure, faster iteration) Requirements Proven DTC performance creative experience (Meta is a must) Strong direct-response copy instincts (hooks, objections, offers, landing pages) Ability to produce AI statics (or learn fast) Organized and systems-minded (testing, tracking, repeatable process) Comfortable working async with clear deliverables Nice to Have Experience with quiz funnels + advertorial funnels Direct-response editing instincts (UGC pacing, pattern interrupts) Understanding of compliance in sensitive categories (if applicable) Deliverables You’ll Produce Weekly creative plan + angle library 10–30 static variants/week (depending on scope) 5–15 video briefs/week Landing page + advertorial + quiz copy drafts/iterations Engagement / Work Type Full-time or Part-time Contract-to-hire is OK How to Apply (Applicants must include) Links/screenshots of Meta ads you’ve worked on + results if available (CTR/CPC/CPA/CVR) Example of a creative brief you wrote (static or video) Tools you use for research + AI statics (e.g., Midjourney, etc.) Your weekly capacity (how many statics + briefs you can ship) Your monthly rate / hourly rate (USD) and availability
